We are thrilled to announce that after much consideration and evaluation, Big Red will be returning to in-person worship services very soon!
Beginning on Sunday, June 6
2 Services: 9am and 10:30am
In-Person AND Livestreamed!
Holding 2 services will help keep us safely distanced.
There will be no reservation process, all are welcome to attend whichever service works best for them on any given Sunday.
In order to create a safe and healthy environment, Church Council has approved the following protocols for in-person worship:
- Masks to be worn at all times by all aged 2 and up.
- Seating in pews will be properly distanced.
- Ushers will show each household to their seats upon arrival.
- Our usual congregational singing and collective response will be limited to “The Lord’s Prayer” and “Go Now In Peace.”
- No Sunday School will be offered at this time.
- Nursery care will be offered with a vaccinated Nursery Attendant.
- Time for Discovery will take place, with children remaining in their seats with their families
- An offertory receptacle will be available in the Narthex in lieu of a passed plate.
- We will be holding worship only, there will be no Coffee Hour in the Fellowship Hall.
These protocols are subject to change and ultimately relax as we continue to progress towards the tail end of the pandemic.
As we begin to gather once again in person, we ask that all be respectful of personal space and boundaries. Any touching, hugging, etc. must be limited to those who have expressed mutual consent.
We highly encourage all who are eligible to receive vaccination against COVID-19.
